Individualized Speech & Language Therapy
We strive to provide an individualized approach tailored to meet the needs of each child, taking into account their strengths and weaknesses.
Speech and language therapy is an individualized intervention that supports children in developing effective communication skills. Through engaging, evidence-based activities, our therapists create a safe, motivating environment where speech and language abilities grow alongside confidence and connection.
Our therapists use evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as:
Orton-Gillingham
PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Motor Phonetic Targets)
Social Thinking®
Visualizing & Verbalizing®
Wilson Reading System®
Spire
Throughout therapy, families receive regular feedback on their child’s progress along with practical strategies for home practice. Therapy goals are derived from comprehensive evaluations and guided by an individualized treatment plan.
We also provide reading, writing, and academic language support.
Our speech-language pathologists are experienced learning specialists who work with students with:
Language-based learning disabilities
Dyslexia
Reading comprehension challenges
Difficulty expressing themselves in written language
Our clinicians are trained and/or certified in the Wilson Reading System®, Orton-Gillingham, and The Writing Revolution®. We collaborate closely with school teams to help ensure each child receives the support needed for academic success.
Teletherapy
(Online Speech & Language Therapy)
Speech and language therapy is also available via secure, live video sessions. Teletherapy allows children to access high-quality, individualized support from home while maintaining the same personalized approach as in-person therapy.
Teletherapy can be an excellent option for:
Families seeking scheduling flexibility
Children who benefit from learning in their home environment
Students outside our local area
Continuity of care during travel, illness, or schedule changes
Sessions are interactive and engaging, using digital materials, games, and shared activities to target speech, language, literacy, and academic skills. Parents receive the same guidance, feedback, and home strategies as in-person services.
If you’re unsure whether teletherapy is a good fit for your child, we’re happy to discuss your child’s needs and help you decide on the best format for therapy.
